Which mixed grill platter should you order?
For an Arabic grill to share in Bangkok, Al Saray has three mixed grill platters, and the difference is how many grills are on the plate.

- Extra Mixed Grill Platter. Five grills: kofta, shish tawook, lamb skewers, chicken kofta and chicken wings. ฿899 at Silom and Sathorn, ฿699 at Soonvijai. It is the platter marked as a chef’s recommendation at all three branches.
- Al Saray Special Mixed Grill. Seven grills, adding lamb arayes and a lamb chop to the five above. ฿1,980 at Silom and Sathorn, ฿1,599 at Soonvijai.
Soonvijai is cheaper than Silom on 11 of the 14 grills, from ฿30 less for Arayess Kofta to ฿381 less for the Al Saray Special Mixed Grill. Kabab Kishkash, the lamb chops and the prawns cost the same everywhere.

Frequently asked questions
1. What is the difference between shawarma, shish tawook and kofta?
Shawarma is meat stacked on a vertical spit, roasted as it turns and sliced thin. Shish tawook is cubes of marinated chicken grilled on skewers. Kofta is minced meat mixed with herbs and spices, shaped and grilled. At Al Saray, kofta comes in lamb and chicken, and Arayess Kofta puts minced lamb inside grilled bread.
2. What is served with the grills?
Each grill has its own side on the menu. Lamb Kofta comes with biwaz, an onion salad. Shish Tawook and Chicken Kofta come with coleslaw and a spicy garlic sauce, and the chicken wings with garlic sauce. The grill descriptions on the menu do not include bread or fries. Lebanese Bread (฿20) and French Fries (฿160) are listed as separate dishes, so add them when you order.
3. Which grills are spicy?
Only Kabab Kishkash carries the spicy mark, and only on the Soonvijai menu. Harra means hot in Arabic, so the harra sauce on Grilled Prawns and Grilled Fish adds heat.
4. Can I order Al Saray’s grills for a party or an office event?
Yes. Al Saray caters events and office lunches with Lebanese and Indian food. Send the date, number of guests and the dishes you have in mind through the private catering enquiry.
5. Can I get Al Saray’s grills delivered?
Al Saray lists GrabFood, LINE MAN and ShopeeFood on its website. Search for Al Saray in the app to see which branch delivers to your address and which grills it offers there.
